I had started this space as a place to post recipes so I could get them off my other journal. Then I reincarnated it as a place for food commentary, but failed in coming over here and actually posting too often. Finally I’ve decided to go ahead and do something I’ve wanted to do ever since I heard of the concept of cooking through whole cookbooks and blogging about it – I’m cooking through Everyday Italian by Giada De Laurentiis.
I’m going to go ahead and leave the previous posts up, but I cleared the tags from everything but Giada’s recipes. I’ll probably add more tags as I go along. I’m likely to start cooking through another of my cookbooks once I finish this one. It may be one of Giada’s other books, or it may be someone entirely new.
I’m not going to set myself a time limit, although I’m going to aim for about one recipe a week.
I’ll post the whole recipe (with any adjustments I made) only for those recipes that Giada has somewhere online. Most of this book is on the Food Network website, so I imagine most recipes will be pulled over here.
